About
I’m glad to see you here! My name is Shanbo Zhang.
I’m currently an undergraduate student (senior) majoring in Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
My primary interest is in computer systems, especially operating systems and their interactions with computer architecture, compilers, and security. I am passionate about making operating systems faster and more efficient for both large-scale traditional workloads and emerging workloads.
I am also interested in operating systems support for novel hardware, such as tiered memory systems, heterogeneous accelerators, and large-scale data center hardware.
Currently, I am working as an undergraduate researcher under the guidance of Prof. Tianyin Xu and Prof. Sarita V. Adve at UIUC.
